A beautiful story ends…

While my outcome was fortunate, I have recently watched the end of another person’s pancreas cancer story. Elizabeth was 93, the wife of Ivan for 43 years and they had ten children. They both formed a partnership and agreed to run their home in a way that demonstrated discipline, love and forgiveness. This was their life: hard work, family and God. After Ivan left this earth almost 31 years ago, Betty continued to focus on her goal of keeping the family together up until the day that she died March 19, 2021. Doctors found her fourth stage pancreas cancer in the early part of January 2021. She has gone to be with her Ivan, her honey. She was the youngest of 11 siblings. She is dearly missed. Betty is my mom. I love you mom.
