Trauma

I had some health breakthroughs in the past couple of weeks.

It seems that even though my body healed from my surgery after about a year and a half, I have had some ongoing problems that I hoped to resolve. These nagging things that go unresolved can cause anger, despair and hopelessness.

One issue was pain and weakness in my bicep, which I thought was due to the ergonomic configurations of my workspace. I changed many things and it never resolved. I experienced some relief from massages, but then it would reappear. The other challenge has been tendintis on the top of my foot. My pediatrist told me that this was caused by my left leg being shorter than the right. Enter, the chiropractor who my massage therapist recommended for my arm issue.

The chiropractor identified that my left hip was tipped and my leg was not really shorter than the other. He also found that my arm issue was caused by an implanted port in my upper chest that pushed my ribs apart causing shoulder blade misalignment and brought about my shoulder not rolling right. The port had been removed over a year ago.

Six days later I feel much better. My frame is aligned, strong, and my arm pain is leaving. Plus, it is getting stronger. I had to modify my newly created insoles.

The moral of the story: Don’t be discouraged and keep pressing on.

Philippians 3:13-15 NLT
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you.
